Sevierville’s Chimney Sweep License: What It Actually Covers
In Sevierville, a chimney sweep license isn’t just a formality, it’s proof the crew knows how to handle your fireplace’s risks. Tennessee requires chimney professionals to pass inspections for creosote removal, carbon monoxide hazards, and structural safety. But some ‘licensed’ sweeps skip critical steps, like testing for CO leaks or checking for cracked flue tiles. Wilson & Gonzalez Chimney Corp goes further: every sweep includes a Level 1 inspection anchor and a written report. If your sweep won’t show you the license number or explain their inspection process, ask why. anchor covers neighborhoods from Wears Valley to the Smoky Mountain foothills, we’ll verify your sweep’s compliance before we start.
Insurance That Protects Your Home: Not Just the Sweep’s Truck

In Sevierville, where older homes and high-traffic cabins mean bigger risks, your chimney sweep’s policy should cover your property if damage happens during service. Wilson & Gonzalez Chimney Corp carries $2 million in liability coverage and workers’ comp, plus, we’ll email you a copy of the policy before we arrive. No verbal promises. No ‘trust us.’ If a sweep refuses to show proof or won’t discuss coverage limits, walk away. anchor lists red flags like unmarked vans or crews who won’t answer basic safety questions.
